I have little-to-no experience with NIS, especially under NetBSD.  Can
somebody else provide some help here?

As a LICENSED PDP 2.11 BSD user I should not ask this but I do :))



I have problems in setting up YP on our NetBSD machines(1.5).

We have a Solaris8/sparc as nisserver.


Where to find info on setup? I was hoping to find a FAQ here
but I can't.
