Hi there,

I recently had an ADSL line installed, and I have several machines I
want to share the connection with. The problem is that the ADSL
modem provided by the telco is a USB one (they refuse to provide
me with a normal ethernet version); its specs are at
http://www.alcatel.com/consumer/dsl/produsb_desc.htm and I
currently use Windows to share the connection (the modem
connects using PPPoA (PPP over ATM, RFC 2364).

Basically, does NetBSD support this piece of hardware? I originally
had the same machine running Linux, and no need for a firewall, as
it was running without any problems -- but Linux USB support isn't
particularly good at the moment. I don't really want to wipe out the
existing Windows configuration until I'm reasonably sure it'll work
under another OS, as it's taken me a hell of a long time to get it
set up.

Thanks,
Lee
