hi, i've found some random snippets on the 3CCFE575BT-D

the card seems to be a DELL card, for it's own laptops, manufactured
by 3Com, hence the '-D'

it seems redhat/suse linux and Net/OpenBSD i386 support this card?

from google:
http://roundeye.penguinpowered.com/rick/hypermail/openbsd/openbsd__2000_09/subject.html
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/netbsd-help/2000/02/18/0017.html
http://pont.net/linux/linuxI3500.html#NET
http://www.eecs.umich.edu/~steveh/inspiron/pcmcia-cs_redhat.txt
http://www.people.cornell.edu/pages/jcb35/linux/i3200.html#ethernet

if this is true (some of the memory address stuff is in that last URL
i think ?) then wouldn't it be possible to whack the i386 carbus
support into macppc?

is anyone in Melbourne with a NetBSD i386 laptop that i could test with?

c.
