# ping -n 127.0.0.1 
This works and now it's fast. But only localhost. 


I can't see the error, there are differences between the outputs of ifconfig 
and netstat on the problematic host and another NetBSD1.4.2 machine here (which 
runs fine, with another NIC in it).
