Hi,

Has anyone had any success in getting netatalk with Anders Sun's
enhancements to compile and work correctly on NetBSD? I run an AppleShare
server on my NetBSD machine, and I'd like to set up two-way scrambled
capability. I know that there is a precompiled package of Netatalk for
NetBSD i386 (which I'm using now), but it doesn't have support for two-
way scrambled capability.

I have tried to compile the latest sources for Netatalk+asun--there was
only a couple of warnings, but most of the compilation went without any
problems. But when time comes to run it, it doesn't work--keep coming up
with error about not being able to register the workstation name.

Looked up in the FAQ for Netatalk, there was no solution for this
problem--only suspecion that it is a bug. There is a precompiled package
for FreeBSD, so I assume it should compile and work just the same on
NetBSD. I guess that is not the case... :-(

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Lucas.
