Is there a way to mark blocks as bad under NetBSD?

There is the scsictl sdx reassign bn command, but it only works on SCSI disks

there is badsect, but it appears to only work for FFS, and I'm not sure that
actually does.

bad144 appears to be only for ancient removable-pack dec disks.

is there anything like badblocks or fsck -c (under linux), which will
find/mark bad blocks so that the OS won't go try to frob them, and then
complain when it can't.

Being able to just mark them by hand would be good enough.

Thanks,
	Suika
