Well, try again with partition type 'RAID' and see if it works :)

No, mirroring was removed from ccd when RAIDframe was integrated, because 
ccd's mirroring was broken and RAIDframe does a much better job.

If you already have the prartitions you want to mirror, just edit the
disklabel (disklabel -e) and change the type to RAID.
