Hm!
Do you've sound? If not, I know something, which
works for me with FreeBSD4.0-CURRENT 19999607...

Build a new kernel, with the luigi sound-driver!

controller snd0
controller pnp0
controller pci0
device pcm0

that's all! rember, the luigi driver, got some problems wioth mmap, so if u liek to play, quake
runs only without sound....

after reboot, the kernel messages, could be the same!
go to /dev

sh MAKEDEV snd0
sh MAKEDEV pcm0

link the mixer from mixer1 to mixer

the same with:

dsp1, dspW1, and so on.... (all sound devices!)

... hope it works for u

Daniel ;)
