Hi,

Lately i was talking to some guys who claimed freebsd is the only os capable of handling huge amount of network traffic without problems.

Now perhaps freebsd has an advantagde in the x86 platform case, cause it's optimized for that and contians many tricks to make it run faster.
However, i wonder how this is with other platforms handling huge amounts of traffic. Anyone got some experience in this with netbsd?
Cause i find it a bit hard to believe that the "networking" implementation in freebsd are "better" (what is better??). Forgive me for using the term networking implementation, but i mean here everthing concerning networking.
Bye,

Mipam.
