I use :

  release release=allsrc host=sup.netbsd.org hostbase=/ftp/pub base=/usr \
  prefix=/usr/src-release backup compress delete use-rel-suffix

(note that's meant to be a single line)

Not all the mirrors have the release branch available via SUP.
