We're running 1.3.3 on an Alpha here. It seems that named is leaking
about 30M a day. The site is using Proftpd at about a hundred hits
a day (this is a development host, not the distribution server). We also
run Kerberos-5 for logins (~50 a day). The nfsd chokes once and a while
as well but I suspect that it's related to named problems. We're hitting
it fairly hard because we're serving up all of gnu.org and a ton of other
stuff with it.

Has anyone seen a leak like this?
Are we actually caching 30M of names a day?
Can I limit the cache to enable this machine to do other things?

I'm rebooting it every day to start over but I hate that.
