	Just a random thought - can you try a kernel compiled from the
	NetBSD-release sources on ftp.netbsd.org (These will be as
	shipped with 1.4.1 sometime soon).

	I don't have any idea on the problem - but its possible one
	of the fixes in 1.4.1 has cured it :)
