You *could* buy a Lexmark Optra Color 45.  It's a good inkjet
printer and already has Postscript builtin.  It's not Adobe
Postscript, it's a clone, but then so is Ghostscript :-)

It worked well for us in testing on an OPENSTEP workstation.  They
are about $600 Cdn, so that would be about $400 US I guess.
