I'm surprised to have received no responses, or even any messages at
all from the netbsd-help list about the problem I'm having getting my
guspnp card to work with NetBSD 1.4. Has no one else experienced this
problem and figured out a solution? Perhaps the list is down?

In any case, I though it might be worthwhile to restate the problem
and supply more information. So here goes:

I upgraded to NetBSD 1.4, configured and recompiled a kernel (see
http://www.xdsl014.serv.net/JEHOIX.txt for my kernel configuration
file followed by dmesg output), and have had no luck getting my Gravis
Ultrasound Plug & Play soundcard to emit any noise at all. It worked
fine with NetBSD 1.3.3.

I've just looked in /var/log/messages, and found the following
messages from a recent boot:

-------------------------------------------------------------------

And here are some messages from my previous, NetBSD 1.3.3 kernel,
which worked just fine with my guspnp:

Does this problem ring a bell to anyone?

Thanks for any help, information, or pointers.
