I'm having trouble getting audio working with NetBSD 1.4.

The following lines are set in my kernel configuration file:

...
isapnp0	at isa?
...
guspnp*	at isapnp? # Gravis Ultra Sound PnP audio
...
audio*	at guspnp?
...

Yet audio is not configured upon booting.

The following lines do show up in dmesg output:

...
isapnp0 at isa0 port 0x279: ISA Plug 'n Play device support
...
guspnp0 at isapnp0 port 0x220/16,0x320/8,0x32c/4 irq 11 drq 5,7
isapnp0: <UltraSound Plug & Play, GRV0011, , Disabled Device> not configured
isapnp0: <UltraSound Plug & Play, PNPB02F, , Game Port> port 0x201/1 not configu
red
isapnp0: <UltraSound Plug & Play, GRV0003, , SB Compatible A> port 0x388/2 irq 5
 drq 1 not configured
isapnp0: <UltraSound Plug & Play, GRV0004, , MPU-401 GM Musi> port 0x330/2 not c
onfigured
...

But no message about 'audio', and whenever I try to use /dev/audio or
/dev/mixer, I'm greeted with the errors:

audio: Device not configured

and

Error opening mixer device /dev/mixer: Device not configured

For what it's worth, audio worked for me with NetBSD 1.3.3.

Any help would be appreciated. I'd gladly supply more information if
necessary.

Thanks.
