I have just bought a "no-name" PCMCIA modem 1456VQC-T2, which has
problems when communicating with the computer, using NetBSD. With
increasing baudrate it usually interrupts; if one then sends a token,
the traffic starts again without any lost tokens. There are no
problems with the modem in Windows95.

Does anyone know what to do?

Perhaps I have to change it, is there some PCMCIA modem that
can be recommended?

Below are some lines from dmesg.
