I'm no ssh expert, but what I do is to not use a passphrase at all for
my ssh keypair... perhaps this is bad/unsafe, but I use ssh to connect
from my machines at home; nobody's going to get a hold of my private
key. Doesn't seem like it'd be any worse than specifying a passphrase on
the commandline :)
