Ok, I won't go there then :)  Just to clarify, I haven't yet played with
NKPDE -- the system selected an NKPDE of NKPDE_MAX on its own.

The BSDs with smarter VM systems we've tried, FreeBSD 2.2/3.0 and
BSD/OS 4.0 crashed during our NFS tests :(
