Well, this sounds *EXACTLY* like a problem I just saw, but that problem
was admittedly with BSD/OS.  Anyway, if you increase NKPDE, as I recall,
you may be changing... where the stack is.  So it's sort of a bit of a
risk.  :)  I seem to recall that there's only so much you can do, and
past that, you're better off using a newer and smarter VM system if possible.
