Subject: 1.3.2 fails to config 3C905 (worked in 1.2)

I just upgraded an HP Vectra XM4 (Pentium-based) from NetBSD 1.2
to 1.3.2 (via the 1.3.2 CD). It had been happily using a 3Com
3C905 10/100TX interface under 1.2. Now there's just one mention
of the card's existence in the boot messages, it doesn't show up
in "ifconfig -l" and it isn't configured.

This is the only mention of the 3Com card:

Jul 24 08:59:50 /netbsd: 3Com product 0x9055 (ethernet network, revision 0x24) at pci0 dev 7 function 0 not configured

This happens with both the INSTALL kernel and a custom kernel I
built for this PC.

Are there any special devices I need to configure into the kernel
to handle the PCI bus and attached stuff?

Lots of PCI-related stuff gets configured...

Jul 24 08:59:50 /netbsd: mainbus0 (root)
Jul 24 08:59:50 /netbsd: pci0 at mainbus0 bus 0: configuration mode 1
Jul 24 08:59:50 /netbsd: pchb0 at pci0 dev 0 function 0
Jul 24 08:59:50 /netbsd: pchb0: Intel 82437FX System Controller (TSC) (rev. 0x02)
Jul 24 08:59:50 /netbsd: 3Com product 0x9055 (ethernet network, revision 0x24) at pci0 dev 7 function 0 not configured
Jul 24 08:59:50 /netbsd: S3 Trio32/64 (VGA display) at pci0 dev 13 function 0 not configured
Jul 24 08:59:50 /netbsd: pcib0 at pci0 dev 15 function 0
Jul 24 08:59:50 /netbsd: pcib0: Intel 82371FB PCI-to-ISA Bridge (PIIX) (rev. 0x02)
Jul 24 08:59:50 /netbsd: Intel 82371FB IDE controller (PIIX) (IDE mass storage, interface 0x80, revision 0x02) at pci0 dev 15 function 1 not configured
Jul 24 08:59:50 /netbsd: isa0 at pcib0

Lots of other peripherals in thes PC work: the IDE interfaces and
drives (including an ATAPI CD), the keyboard, VGA display and
floppy.

Hints appreciated!
