  Even before I recieved you message I too installed the same java SDK but
I get a :
Bad system call - core dumped

so i did a :
ldconfig /usr/local/jdk1.1.5/lib/i386/green_threads

and now I get:
/usr/libexec/ld.so: java_X: libjava.so.1.1: Bad system call - core dumped

from bad to bad.

I have:
options         COMPAT_FREEBSD  # binary compatibility with FreeBSD
 compiled in, any segestions?
