I downloaded the patch-1.3-1.3.1.gz and to 1.3.2 patches, but cannot
figure out how to apply them. Did I miss some instructions somewhere?

I:

zcat <gzipped patchfile> | patch

but it prompts me all the time for the file to patch... What I'd like
it to do is to patch the files I have, but skip the sources I have'nt
installed...

The patch man page did'ne help _me_...
