:# Port 13 is used by "rdate", not ntpdate.
:norad.arc.nasa.gov runs rdate, and I believe a number of other time related
:services. I did a web search one day, and found a big list of servers that
:offer various time sync services to the public. I cannot recall what the page
:I found this info on was, but it's out there.

The ntp daemon (xntpd) is part of the NetBSD distribution.

Time Server page (ntp):
	http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~ntp/
Public Time servers:
	http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~mills/ntp/servers.html
which links to stratum 1 and stratum 2 servers:
	http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~mills/ntp/clock1.html
	http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~mills/ntp/clock2.html
though those lists might be a bit old. People should check with their ISP
for topologically close servers.
