I don't see anything in the NetBSD documentation about this, so:

Can you use a dumb terminal from COM1 as a console under NetBSD?
Is it something you can configure after the system is installed,
or can you boot a system from scratch (boot disks, et al) from a
serial terminal console?  Or, is it not possible to do any of
this?
