That is what I meant with "1K". These are costs we have to endure, besides all
this money talk by semiprofessionals with alternative motives makes me sick.
They try to present false information to the "money bags" so they can sell
themselves, for the saving of 30 bucks at the risk of hundred of thousands or
even millions, by promoting sloppiness and ignorance there, where it could
really make a difference. I do not think that to protecting private property,
is less important than few conveniences for the majority of non-technical
seldom more than Office98 literate folks. As for 1K, take a calculator, and
calculate do not forget the $$$, and you'll see what you get. And do not come
with "what if everybody ...", This is a small technical group and we can not
rely on business sloppy and ignorant decision maker ideology, and that is why
you folks that are annoyed with this, get the $30 value that will protect your
freedom of expression and allow you to say what you think, or be sure that who
is asking you to shut up has some power and authority to do so!

As for costing money, for transfer rates, of course there are costs, somebody
has to provide service, and build infrastructure, I think some of you folks
would like to have a free ride. You know, if it is unsafe to fly the Space
Shuttle it doesn't fly. So perhaps if it is not safe communicating, some
selecting criteria is needed. As long as it is not in hands of a single
authority its going to be O.K. You know, I paid $2000 for a 40 MB disk 12 years
ago, the same for !.2GB eight years ago, now I can have 8 disks for this money.
If a server provider can not sustain these prices, perhaps they should go out
of business. The encrypted messages are transient messages, and should be
cleaned up. Of course many use now IIS with no Administration skills what so
ever. Help them God, until Microsoft automates this feature for everyone to
have not knowing whether it's there or not. Most likely, in a few years it will
become an option. I do not wish to help the Devil.

If you wander how can you trust that scribble, I have to tell you that all you
need to do to secure your intellectual property efficiently, you need to find
your Certificate Authority (CA) //Electronic-Signature provider, pay cca $30
for registration and they will provide with the appropriate "SECURE" keys (one
public / other private) and you can send even encrypted messages, so only those
registered with these CAs will be able to read your messages. Of course if you
are ISP, it'll cost you cca 1000/year, and go ahead divide this among your
users, it's a legitimate cost, or learn how to automate the cleanups on your
server, if you wish to compete with ridiculous prices, that have no base with
actual cost but rather some imaginary future projections.

I am pulling out of this thread, so you will not see my esignature anymore,
unless somebody starts spreading misinformation again, perhaps of course.

PS: The branch his thread developed into in my opinion no longer has the
adequate tittle.
