Just in case anyone was actually following this thread, I got the
FreeBSD binary of the XFree86 server for the Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro
graphics card (XSuSE.Elsa.GLoria-3.02-FreeBSD) to work under
NetBSD. It seems to be working just fine.

Would it be a good idea to make a package of the FreeBSD libs and
ldconfig application and submit it, since I've already downloaded and
extracted them.
