Here is what I have for xterm, similar to what you are doing:

        <KeyPress>      SunPaste:insert-selection(PRIMARY,CUT_BUFFER0) \n\
        <KeyPress>          Help:popup-menu(fontMenu) \n\
        <KeyPress>          Redo:redraw()

Hope this helps, I don't mess with xedit much..  yuk. ;)
