I'm looking for very low latancey communication between two machines.
A fast method of raw data exchnage between machines. One might say
a glorified serial link, gigabit serial ?

Does anyone have any recomendations. If necessary I would arrange for
a device driver to be writen to provide a simple device interface
something like /dev/fast_link *8-) which software can then open and
read and write to as normnal.
