I have a netbsd system which is connected to the network through a serial link
and PPPd. The server is again a Netbsd machine. I'm able to connect to the
network
and browse the internet.

	My problem is,
name resolution is not taking place in my client.

I have nameserver information in the /etc/resolv.conf file. My domainname is
set.

But ypbind in the client doesn't run. It hangs(sending broadcast packets to
find a ypserver)

But through netscape I'm able to browse, and all I specify is name and
not ip's.

With ping or telnet though I have to specify the ip's and name resolution
doesn't happen.

Any help on this is most welcome!

Thanks in ADVANCE,
Bala.
