I'am running a HP 9000/400 (Apollo with 68040 33MHz)) computer with the
hp300 port.
My network card is a HP8643 (THIN) and gets configured as :
  	le0 at scode 21 ipl 5: address 08:00:09:14:be:f5
	le0: 8 receive buffers, 2 transmit buffers

Are there more devices releated to the network configuration ?

in /var/log/messages sometimes this happens:

Jan 21 04:06:35 gurke inetd[92]: pmap_set: 100001 1 17 1025: Bad file descriptor
