Hello World, :-)

I am wondering about the relation of /tmp and the swap partition.
Somehow I remember, that /tmp is supposed to share the space
with the swap partition, or am I totally wrong here?

In my system /tmp (and /var/tmp) both use space on the root partition,
where not much space is left. My swap partition is almost empty
all the time (I have 16Mb RAM), so it would be perfekt if /tmp
uses that space.
Do I have to mount /tmp onto the swap partition? (If yes, how?)

Any help appreciated!

Rainer

My system: Amiga 3000, 16+2 Mb, NetBSD 1.2
