...make sure you have EXEC_AOUT and EXEC_SCRIPT in your kernel config
file, otherwise you won't be able to exec those kinds of binaries.

Also, if you're upgrading from 1.2, make sure you have COMPAT_12 in 
your kernel config file, as well.

Then, you should be able to boot a 1.2B kernel on 1.2 userland...

Then, execute a "make build" from /usr/src, and the world should
build ok...
