Hello, all.

Checking /etc/disktab in my i386 and sun3 ports of NetBSD-1.2 I saw
that in the i386 BSD filesystems were of type 4.2BSD, and in the sun3
they were 4.4BSD.  My BSD partitions are formatted 4.2BSD in both
computers, independetly of /etc/disktab.

What is the difference between these two formats and why does 1.2-i386
installs 4.2BSD instead of 4.4BSD?  If there are any differences and
advantages in 4.4BSD, can I smoothly change from 4.2BSD?
