I compiled and I'm using perl 5.003 on a NetBSD/i386 1.2 system.  While
some errors were ignored in the `make test' run, I don't remember what
they were; since no errors were reported in the summary at the end of that
run, I assume everything is working fine.

I'm not much of a Perl hacker (I can prototype the stuff I need in C
pretty quickly), so please don't ask me lots of in-depth questions.  I
just wanted to say "it works for me." :-)
