Yeah that is what I did - there are a couple of places where the
extmemsize is fished out.  I ended up hacking bios.S so that memsize
returned the number I wanted for the ext mem AND machdep.c where it
sets biosextmem - I can see why EXTMEM_SIZE is needed, especially if
you have >64M of extended memory in your machine!

After making and installing both the new boot blocks and the new
kernel my NetBSD is oblivious to the extra 16Meg and my ISA adaptec
scsi card works fine.  Needless to say, I am not happy with the
arrangement but it will keep me working until I can sort out my
hardware problems.

Thanks - sounds like a very good reason to get 1.2 on my machine.
