O.K. I disklabeled it as one big partition, and then newlfs'ed it. New
lfs did not complain.
Fsck dumps core, and mount_lfs says:
mount_lfs: Operation not supported by device
Paint me clueless, but don't use Krylon(tm).

Is anyone putting together a FAQ specifically for NetBSD, or providing
updates to the *BSD FAQ? It's really getting out of date. I'll
certainly do my part.
And speaking of which, should the disklabel procedure in the
installation maybe mark the label as write-protected? I just blew mine
away, when I accidentally labelled wd0a instead of wd1a...
Anyway...
