Subject: SCSI error code ?

Occasionally on the console, I'll see syslog output of the form:

cd0(ncr0:3:0): error code 64

What does this mean ? The device is a CD-ROM drive. This has also been
occasionally accompanied with 'non media hardware failure' messages.

The CD can usually be read fine; my setup is a little unusual in that the
CD-ROM is being used on a fileserver which runs samba to allow PC users
to see it. This involves running amd.

Cheers
Tim.
