I've seen this problem intermittantly on some PCI Award BIOS's,
notably the ASUS SP3G, although it doesn't happen on every reboot,
only occasionally, since I've installed the latest SP3G bios.

I have a PCI/I-P54TP4XE, with bios v1.12 and it doesn't have the
problem. (The 'XE' is just an enhanced model of your board)

I've just downloaded bios v1.13, but I haven't installed it yet.
Maybe that will help.
