The latest version of Taylor UUCP is 1.06.1. The uucp in
-current's source tree is 1.06.1, despite the fact that the
src/gnu/libexec/uucp/VERSION file says it is 1.05 (this should be
fixed).

Here's a question for the core people: Why do you put GNU code in the
tree without the accompanying texinfo documentation? Texinfo files
are flat text, you don't need Emacs, &c. to read them. If the package
has manpages then eliminating the texinfo docs may be reasonable, but
that is *not* the case for UUCP. UUCP is practically useless without
documentation.
