I have asked before why it is that the -current kernel hangs during the
configuration process...it gets past my first and second HD's but it
stops before the third:
ahsc0 targ 0 lun 0: <SEAGATE ST157N \^D|j> SCSI1 direct fixed
sd0 at scsibus1: 46MB, 613 cyl, 6 head, 25 sec, 512 bytes/sec
ahsc0 targ 1 lun 0: <SEAGATE ST251N \^D\^K\^G> SCSI1 direct fixed
sd1 at scsibus1: 41MB, 818 cyl, 4 head, 25 sec, 512 bytes/sec
ahsc0 targ 6 lun 0: <QUANTUM LP120S GM120S01X4.6 > SCSI2 direct fixed
sd2 at scsibus1: 116MB, 1818 cyl, 2 head, 65 sec, 512 bytes/sec
It stops after sd1.
The answer I received before was that I needed the whole snapshot
installed before the kernel will work...I still don't see what outside of
the kernel could be happening at this point, but I do now have the whole
snapshot installed and still I get it hanging there. Can anyone help me
please?
Thanks a bunch!
Simon
