OK...finally i get EVERYTHING set up to compile the NetBSD-current
	   kernel.  When I make after make depend 'as' cannot assemble locore.s
	   I do now 80x86 assembly and neither of these instructions are familiar to me.  

	   locore.s: line 313: no such 386 instruction 'spuid'
	   locore.s: line 319: no such 386 instruction 'cpuid'
	   locore.s: line 1826: unknow register '-138422544r6'
	   locore.s: line 1829: unknown register '-128422544r6'

	   Apparently either my processor doesn't support that instruction..
	   Or its just a bad locore.s file.

You need to rebuild gas.
