I am having problems getting pppd to work with the connect and chat.
I remember a discussion of this a while back in the current mailing list.  I would appreciate if
someone would explain what I have to do to get pppd to work with chat.
I also seem to remember that the i386 port had some problems with
using the same device for calling out and calling in.  Has this been
fixed?   I am running the 1.0A of the i386 port.
