Hmmm...Well, I had this problem way back when...it was a bug in the adb
code, I think...if the keyboard what used once that console had scrolled,
the keyboard died...If I remember correctly, thr machine was still
running fine - just no console...
'Course, they might have fixed that bug - I dunno - I don't have my Mac
anymore...
