Hi, all.

I just moved to a nice new WD2850 EIDE drive on my IDE controller. Now,
when I log in, it complains that it can't read my root directory, and sets
root to /. However, I can read the directory. Also, executing "make"
gives:

make: Permission denied.

but permissions are:

-r-xr-xr-x  1 root  wheel  90112 Nov  6 05:49 /usr/bin/make*

I get random permission problems with files all about the system.

Starting csh:
csh: Permission denied
csh: Trying to start from "/usr/mwilley"

permissions:
drwxr-xr-x  23 root  wheel  1024 Feb  8 21:48 //
drwxr-xr-x  21 root  wheel  512 Feb  9 00:21 /usr/
drwx--x--x  25 mwilley  family  2560 Feb 10 21:47 /usr/mwilley/

me:
uid=100(mwilley) gid=100(family) groups=100(family), 0(wheel), 33(majordom), 101(users), 102(overlord)

Any ideas?

Mark
