Dear Net:
I have what seems to be a bug in NetBSD--or not.

The directions for the amiga say partition your hard drive and

"Set the dostype to one of these three choices:"

          root partition: 0x4e425207
          swap partition: 0x4e425301
          other partitions: 0x4e425507

Now, this seems to say that you should set the root to 0x4e42507 and
swap to 0x4e425301, and the others to 0x4e425507. On the other hand, it
could mean to set all three partitions to one of the three numbers.

In any case, I set each differently:
                    Root has 0xe425207
                    swap has 0x4e425301
     and the others have 0x4e425507.

The probelem is that when I bootstrap into BSD, it doesn't see my swap
partition--it just skips that space. My amigaDOS partition on the same
drive is recognized. The root, usr and local partitions are recognized.
The swap partition just isn't there. SHould I give all partitions the
same number? or is there a typo in the instructions that give the number
for the swap partition as 0x4e425301?

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

                                            Sincerely,
                                                       John V. Wiegand
