Evidently if I ifconfig ed0, then ifconfig down, then ifconfig it
again it decided that I mean really mean it this time and works
(doesn't appear to care if it gets link0 or not though, even though I
am using AUI).  Oh well, I'm not complaining.  If anyone can figure
out why I have to ifconfig twice though... ;)
