I wonder if applying the following patch is a good idea.  It adds
-doperating-system-NetBSD-${DISTRIBVER}=${DISTRIBVER} to the command
line to get rid of the bunch of

    mdoc warning: .Nx: Unknown NetBSD version `3.99.18'

warnings.
