Indeed, there are some problems with current man pages in the operating
system on-line documentation (md2(1), md4(1), md5(1), and sha1(1) at
least, all related with cksum(1)).

At least, the man pages related with functions of the OpenSSL library
should be fixed.

I see that OpenBSD has chosed a different approach to this problem:

   - some openssl(1) commands (e.g., md4(1)) are links to the same
     manual page (dgst(1)).

   - when a openssl(1) command has the same name as a command on
the operating system (e.g., md5(1)) the man page for the latter
is returned. In other words, md5(1) will not return dgst(1).

I just want to show how this problem has been managed in other BSD.

Best regards,
Igor.
