Indeed. Right now, I know about:
 * etc/etc.*/MAKEDEV (if the device needs a device node)
 * share/man/man8/man8.*/MAKEDEV.8 (generated non-automatically via
   script from etc/etc.*/MAKEDEV)
 * htdocs/Hardware/*.html
 * src/distrib/notes/*/hardware
 * driver manpage
 * bus/bridge manpage 

How could we do this? Any takers?
