helped us out with translation work in the past.

I have just added the first draft of the 1.6.2 Release announcement, and
thought I'd bring it to your attention, so you can monitor changes to it
and provide us with an initial or updates to the existing translation
into your preferred language.  If you know anybody else who might be
interested in helping with this task, please let them and us know. :-)

As usual, we very much appreciate the work you put into this -- please
help us again to allow us to announce the 1.6.2 release when the time
comes in as many languages as possible!  (1.6.1 was announced in ten
languages!)
